It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma White of Salisbury, Maryland, who passed away on November 26, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Douglas and Hilda Newton Gunby. She is survived by: her husband Philmore Lee White, Sr.; her children, Philmore Lee White, Jr. (Tiffany), Bruce E. Holden (Clea), Darryl L. White (Tammy), Muriel Spence and Sonja S. White; her brothers, Apostle Robert Douglas (Apostle Carolyn), Bishop Tony White (Arletha) and Michael Douglass (Marcia); and her siblings-in-law, Joanne, Tonya and Eddie White. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, in-laws, and friends.
