He is survived by: his children, Felicia Smith (Paul), Tiara Ringgold, Dmeara Monet Smith (South Carolina) and Phillip Emory Smith III; his grandchildren, Paul Jr., Kalece, Kaleel Harrison and Aidan Butler; his sister Cheryl (Labonita); his niece Delmitria Washington Gary (Antoine); his aunts, Shirley Johnson and Cynthia Favors; his fiancé Lynell Showell (Lynn); and also, Norma Miller, Mufasa and DJ Michael Bryan.
