He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Elmer Neal and Mary Elizabeth Custis Neal; and his brothers, Elvis Neal (Doris Mae Neal), Otha Nock, Emory Beckett and Theodore Snead.
He is survived by: his cousin Boosie Dennis; his children, Thomas (Nancy), Rodney (Cassandra), Karinda Williams and Ronnie Neal; his brother Charles Beckett; his siblings-in-law, Deshirley Riley, Sherwood Riley, James Drummond, Laronn (Brenda), Terrence (Alisa) and Noah (Deborah); his sister Frances Hyatt; and his niece Lashawn Nock. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren.
