She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Kendrick and Madeline Lane Wright; her husband Harold E. Powell, Sr. of Claysville; her daughter Sandra Joyce Powell Fowler of Matthews, NC; her sister Peggy Joyce Mason of Fruitland; and her granddaughter Bonnie Farrell.
She is survived by: her son Harold E. Powell, Jr. (Linda) of Indian Trail, NC; her grandchildren, Daniel and Stephanie; her son-in-law Bruce Fowler of Matthews, NC; her grandchildren-in-law, Jonathan, Cori and Zachary; and her nephew Gary Cleveland Mister (Trudy) of Hebron. She is also survived by her pet dogs.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in the name of the deceased.
