She is survived by: her children, Catherine Jones (Gary) of Severn, MD, Floyd Jr. (Elsie) of Berlin and John Purnell of Powellville, MD; and her brother Robert Spence of Pocomoke, MD. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, several great and great-great-grandchildren.
