It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tamala Douglas (Salisbury, Maryland), born in Crisfield, Maryland, who passed away on February 2, 2019, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Fisher and Betty Marsh (Kevin); her aunts, Virginia Horsey, Rose Cropper and Robin Douglass; and her grandparents, Iva Lee and Burnzie Douglas, Sr..

She is survived by: her grandson Buddy; her fiancé Darnell Tilghman; her children, Steven Hawkins, Jr. (Natalie), Tamyra Douglas and Leslie Ball (Shane); her grandson Shane Ball; her siblings, Nakia Barkley, Maurice Douglas (Tyshonna), MaShauna Douglas, Burnzie "Dougie" Douglas III, Brian Douglas, Retonya Dennis, Cassandra Johnson and Michelle McCready (Pearl); her nieces, Tamia Barkley-Dashiell (Cuppie), Brykia Waters and Aniyah Johnson; her aunts and uncles, Bonnie Douglas-Cullen (Arthur), Bessie Morgan, Burnzie Douglas, Jr. (Romeia) and Elmer Barkley (Josephine); her grandmother Patricia Douglas; her mother-in-law Dora Frances Tilghman; and her cousins, Margie Lane and Janice Douglas (Sinclair). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, play brothers and sisters, other relatives and many, many, many friends.
