It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Ann Smith Stroop of Salisbury, Maryland, who passed away on April 15, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Virginia Hitch Culp and Elmer Smith; her stepfather John Culp; her husband George Stroop; her daughter Tamara Pusey of Salisbury; her grandchildren, Kristin Hazel of Salisbury and Daniel Pusey of Michigan; her great grandchildren, Connor and Mikayla Hazel; her brothers, Thomas Smith (Ruth Malone) and Ralph Smith (Margaret Ann) of Salisbury; her stepsisters, Diana Kirkpatrick of Salisbury and Linda Hayward of Florida; her niece Sherri Pavilack (Brooks) of Minnesota; and her nephews, Scott Smith (Cherie) of Salisbury and Randy Smith.
