It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvester Gordy Sr. (Salisbury, Maryland), who passed away on November 26, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Petties; his children, Kimberly Nicole and Sylvester Jr.; his mother Gracie Maybelline Gordy; his siblings, Jennifer Hill and Bryan Wright; his stepsiblings, Amanda Legon Maith and Ivan Tilghman; and his brothers, Michael and Reginald. He is also survived by his son and daughter; six grandchildren.
