It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Suzanne D. Payne of Salisbury, Maryland, born in Crisfield, Maryland, who passed away on February 23, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lionel Warren Daugherty and Ethel Beatrice Pruitt Daugherty of Crisfield; her husband Charles James "Chick" Payne; her son Charles James Payne, Jr.; her sister Faye Dorman; and her son-in-law Kenneth Parker.
She is survived by: her children, Russell Warren Payne (Julie), Ronnie Lee Payne (Melodye), Debra Sue Lowe (Chris) and Tresa Lynn Parker; her grandchildren, Ronnie Lee Payne, Jr., Crystal Payne, Christina Lowe and Tabatha Payne; and her sister Jackie Lowe. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
