He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Samuel Reed Chaffey, Sr. and Mable Mcgee Chaffey; his wife Joann Patchett Chaffey; his sisters, Jeanne Pusey, Ruth Freeman and Phyllis Taylor; his children, Samuel, Karen (David Milligan) and Brenda (Norris Howard, Jr.); and his grandchildren, Elizabeth Chaffey, Nicole Chaffey, Brandon Milligan, Hunter Milligan and Caitlyn Crowley. He was also cherished by several great grand-children and his beloved dog.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to support the Maryland Eastern Shore Troopers Fund, payable to Marvin Henry, 14025 Sandy Ridge Court, Eden, MD 21822 and noted in memory of Sam Chaffey Jr.
