He was predeceased by: his former wife Laudine F. Carter Marks. He is survived by: his parents, Israel Marks and Ida Teves Marks; his wife Mary Sides Marks; his children, Thomas E. Bunch of Pauls Valley, Ida R. MacDonald of Georgetown and Lesa M. Poinsett of Springfield; his stepchildren, Cynthia C. Loden-Dowdle of Alexandria and Christopher D. Loden of Tyler; and his brother James "Jimmy" Marks. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
