It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Marie Carroll of Salisbury, Maryland, who passed away on January 28, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas H. Carroll and Ruth C. Carroll; and her brothers, Thomas V. Carroll and David W. Carroll. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Kent N. Kimmel; her stepdaughter Dr. Heather Kimmel (W. David Kulp); her stepgrandchildren, Rachel and Nathan; her children, Denise Bell, Karen Lackey (Bill), Edward J. Bell (Teresa) and Matthew D. Bell (Barbara); her grandchildren, Lauren, Douglas, Alexis, Erin, Tyler, Drew, Anneka, Tatum, Sean, Eamon, Noah, Libby and AJ; and her great grandchildren, Ella, Annabelle, Beau, Bryan, Jason, Emma, Christopher, Nora, Thomas, Remi, Leif and Molly.
