She was predeceased by: her parent Earl Henry Merritt; her husband Douglas Wayne Scott; and her sister Alice Faye Morgan. She is survived by: her parent Frances Burke Merritt; her daughters, Terri Lynn Hochmuth (Jim) of Hebron and Tammy Sue Fisher; and her grandson Jordan Fisher.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to Coastal Hospice, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802.
