He was predeceased by: his parents, Howell Nathaniel Dixon and Grace Lamont Dixon; and his brother Kenneth Leighton Dixon. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Holst Dixon; his children, Jonathan Dixon of Chelmsford, MA and Susan Creager of Eden, MD; his grandchildren, Abigail Creager, William "Cameron" Creager, Katelyn Creager and Katrina Dixon; and his parents-in-law, Rebecca Holst and Robert. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
