“A former soloist with the Robert Shaw Chorale, Mr. Wright was a kind and generous voice teacher, and a gifted conductor of works ranging from a cappella choral pieces to Menotti's THE CONSUL. My time at Florida Atlantic University included the very special highlight of having him conduct us in the 1974 Florida premiere of Leonard Bernstein's MASS. Always as witty and charming as they come, he made a big difference in all the lives he touched. He is greatly missed. ~ Edward Lein (B.M., FAU 1976)”
