He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Sherman Powell and Martha Webster Powell; and his siblings, Wallace Powell and Sue Powell. He is survived by: his wife Doris Powell; his children, Shawn Powell (Christine), Shelley Wilson (Wesley Foxwell) and Nick Hirsch (Crystal); his grandchildren, Zachary Powell, Ethan Wilson, Aspen Hirsch, Eden Hirsch and Olivia Hirsch; and his brother Rodwell "Roddy" Powell (Beverly).
