We are sad to announce that on September 29, 2023, at the age of 89, Richard Irwin Bishop Sr. of Salisbury, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his former wife Pola Noe Bishop. He is survived by: his children, Betsy Bishop Affayroux (Ron) and Richard Bishop (Joan Wiley); his grandchildren, Jordan Robinson (Emilee), Joshua Robinson (Phoenix), Hannah Whisler (Riley) and Brittany Bishop; his great grandchildren, Shelby, Jordan, Alana, Crew and Kelly; and his wife Betsy Bishop Affayroux (Ron).

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to The Christian Shelter (Salisbury).

Beans and I use to collect Nickels from family by dancing together when we were little. I have always loved him. Aunt Jessie was there when I was born. She stayed close all my life. Now he has been called home and I will see him there one day. Blessings to all his loved ones.”
