He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Francis Barr, Sr. and Ruby Williams Fries; and his siblings, Allen Barr, Jr., Kenneth Fries and Joan Carol Betts.
He is survived by: his wife Roxy Ann Barr; his children, Richard F. Barr, Jr. (Sarah) and Tara Lynn Van Hekle (Preston); his grandchildren, Logan Marie Barr, Lauren Tilton and Levi Chase Van Hekle; his stepgrandchildren, Emma, Aidan, Olivia and Isabelle; and his siblings, Pamela Martin Foley, Robert Barr and James Fries. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
