He was predeceased by: his father William Johnson; his children, Jacqueline Tindley and Raymond Johnson, Jr. of Millsboro, Delaware; his grandchildren, Terri Bruinton and Sven Conquest; and his siblings, Mildred Davis, Mary Milbourne, Ruth Stansbury, Milton Johnson, Sr. and William "Bill" Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Ann Dennis; his children, Mary Purnell (Avery) of Newark, Marigold Morris (Kenny) of Berlin, Vanessa Ballard (Wayne) of Snow Hill, Jennifer Ames of Snow Hill, Sherron Stevenson, Sr. (Lisa) of Manassas, Virginia, Antione Stevenson (Lenice) of Dale City, Darryl Stevenson, Sr. (NanNette) of Quantico and Darlene Banks of Ellendale; and his goddaughter Shalonda Kelly (Brian) of Baltimore, Maryland.
