She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Robert Cline Markey and Mary Elizabeth Markey; and her brother Dr. Thomas Lloyd Markey. She is survived by: her husband Dr. H. Harry Basehart; her son Philip Markey Basehart; her daughter-in-law Sara Basehart; her grandchildren, Jenna, Flynn and Calder; her daughter Sarah Elizabeth Basehart; and her grandchildren, Amelia and Fynn.
