She was predeceased by: her parents, George R. Bateman and Minnie Matthews Bateman of Elizabeth City, NC.; her husband G. Harlon Townsend; and her siblings, Wade Bateman, Grant Bateman and Pauline B. Winslow.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Townsend Brittingham and Susan Townsend; her grandson Michael A. Davis (Kim); her great grandchildren, Morgan Anne Powell (Ian) and Molly Elizabeth Davis (Chase); her stepdaughter Ree Metcalf; and her nephew David W. Bateman. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Mrs. Pattie to Rockawalkin Church, 6777 Rockawalkin Rd, Hebron, MD 21830.
