She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Elmer and Flora Elizabeth Cook; her son Eugene Hill; her brothers, Marion Cook, Jr. and Thomas Cook; and her spouses, Eddie Hill, Sr. and Harold Halliburton.
She is survived by: her children, Eddie Hill, Jr. (Jossette) of Atlanta, Deborah Brockenbrough of Salisbury, Norman Hill (Justine) of Salisbury, Cornelius Hill of Chester, Kevin Hill of Salisbury and Ethel Blocker (Tyrone) of Jacksonville, Florida; her siblings, Daisey Johnson of Ocoee, Samuel Cook (Sandra) of Mardela Springs, Sara Brown (Minister Charles) of Salisbury and David Cook (Deborah) of Mardela Springs, Maryland; and her sister-in-law Lucille Cook of Bowie. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
