It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norita Ball (Salisbury, Maryland), born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on December 11, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Harvey Ball; her parents, Benjamin Rudderforth and Jerry; her stepparents, Grace (Momma) of Shadyside and Marlin of Silver Spring, MD.; her siblings, Melvina, Patricia Ann, Teresa, Linda, Lana, Benjamin "Bud", Mary and Melissa; and her children, Stephen Byington (Karen) of Kentucky, Susan Miller (Wayne) of North Carolina, David Byington (Terry) of Florida, Dawn Byington (Linda) of Florida and Stacy Cottingham (Jeff) of Maryland. She was also cherished by 11 grandchildren across the country, many great grandchildren, and beloved nieces and nephews.

“Sadly, I learned about Norita's recent passing today. We've known each other since high school. I know she's had health issues in recent months and years but now is resting in peace. I'm grateful that I was able to chat with her by telephone a couple months ago. She loved life and enjoyed her wonderful home on the river. I'll always remember when she invited me to spend the night in her best B&B room. It was a joy to know Norita. My sincere condolences to Harvey and family.”
