She is survived by: her children, Wanda Lynn Polk, Timothy Polk, Laverne Harris (Howard), Marcia Hankerson, Bridget Johnson, Beverly Williams, Tamela "Tammy" Polk, Kevin Polk (Tracey), Kim "Laney" Newborns and Don "Turk" Polk (Candice); her siblings, Anita Odom (Robert) and Gregory T. Dutton (Geraldine); her sister-in-law Iva Brooken; her grandchildren, Gregory T. Polk, Randy Polk (Rhonda), Tina Christian (Jerry), Andrea Polk, Amber El (Yuhanna), Al Hankerson, Clayton Hankerson, Courtney Hankerson, Matia Johnson, Antonio Johnson, Nia Polk, Brieanna Adams (Cameron), Brittany Newborns, Tiera Jennings, Kevin D. Polk, Nekye Polk, Saleem Taylor and Michael Taylor; and her niece Shirley Watford. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, several other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, in-laws, and friends.
