She was predeceased by: her husband William E. Smith, Jr.; and her brother Harvey O. Hufnal, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Wayne E. Smith (Helen) of Georgetown, Sandra L. Walls and Scott Smith; her grandchildren, Brandy Smith-Taylor of Delmar and Ashleigh Smith of Salisbury; her great grandchild Gabriel Rincon of Delmar; and her aunt Mildred Pleasant of Hopewell.
