She was predeceased by: her parent Walton Phillips; her former husband William Joseph Townsend Sr.; her daughters, Ruth Ann Morris and Kathryn Barry; and her sisters, Louise Mach, Edna Mae Bratten, Virginia Ennis, June Lawler and Barbara Lattimore.
She is survived by: her parent Maude Phillips; her children, William Joseph Townsend Jr. of Fruitland, Mary Frances Adams of Salisbury, Cheryl Townsend of Salisbury, Barbara Griffin of Princess Anne and James Finlay of Salisbury; and her husband Clarence Edward Meyer of Salisbury. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren.
