She was predeceased by: her parents, Della Jones and Dubois Teagle; her husband Joseph Dorman, Sr.; and her daughter Samaris "Cherry" Blake. She is survived by: her children, Joseph "JoJo" Dorman, Jr. (Monica), Carlos "Los" Dorman, William "Sputnik" Dorman (Marlena), Jerome "Midget" Dorman and Karen Dorman Dennis; her goddaughter Christina Watson-Pender (Stephen); her daughters, Alana and Lailah; her son-in-law Andre Blake; her daughters, Janet "Faye" Lee and Yvonne "Nesie" Reed; her cousin Roland "Sonny" Bivens (Muriel); and her extended family, Lewis N., Talana D. Watson, Rev. Kenneth (Kanika), Amaris (Brandon), Kaden, Grace, Karis, Tina Dixon and Vanessa White. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, in-laws, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (528 Delaware Ave, Delmar, DE 19940). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at the Green Acres Memorial Park, Inc. West Road (1618 West Rd, Salisbury, MD 21801).
