She was predeceased by: her parents, Abel Winder and Clara Reba Winder; her husband Sidney C. Sessoms, Sr.; her sons, Albert Bateman and Leo Bateman; and her siblings, Grace Johnson, Mary and Charles Winder.
She is survived by: her children, Sidney C. Sessoms, Jr., Shirley Winder and Cynthia Creighton; and her sister Judy Winder. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives, in-laws, and friends.
