She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Vance and Bernice Sturgis (Hurley); her husband Philip E. Boltz, III; her siblings, Betty Hancock and Van Sturgis; her nephew Curtis Hancock; and her brother-in-law Floyd Hancock.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Jeffrey Boltz (Lisa) of Berlin, Maryland and Melanie Boltz Mason (Chris) of Berlin, Maryland; her grandchildren, Hannah Boltz of Washington, D. C., Philip and Parker Mason of Berlin, Maryland.; her nieces and nephews, Trent Hancock (Wendy), Craig Hancock (Karen), Marita Newsome and Terri Ford (Greg); and her cousins, Trina Lowe (Ken) and William Sturgis (Nancy).
