He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Elmore Carman and Lewis R. Carman; his brother-in-law Charles Shockley; and his sister Caroline Shockley. He is survived by: his niece Deborah R. Causey (Keith); his great-nieces, Angela C. Fykes (Bryan) and Tara Causey; his great-nephew Justin A. Causey (Diana); and also, Karalynn, William, Makayla and Jaiden.
