He is survived by: his siblings, Judith Merryman Shafer of Baltimore and Robert Gwynn Merryman (Catherine) of Berlin, Maryland; his son Jon Tyler Merryman (Kirsten) of Catonsville, Maryland; and his grandchildren, Aidan Reese Merryman of Sherman Oaks and Olivia Joy Merryman of Ithaca. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
