He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Copeland, Sr. and Elmira Daniel Copeland; his wife Barbara A. Copeland; and his siblings, Annie Mae Pearl, Lottie Mae Copeland, Thomas Copeland, Jr., Wesley Copeland and Clarence Copeland.
He is survived by: his children, Pamela Parker (Ernest), Amanda Copeland and Lawrence J. Copeland, Jr. (Elizabeth); and his siblings, Alice Copeland, Lee Edward Copeland and David Copeland (Elaine). He is also survived by six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
