She was predeceased by: her parents, Miyan Penate and Petrona M. Jaimes. She is survived by: her children, Angie M. Gozali (Murad) of Salisbury, MD and Douglas Artiga (Adela); her siblings, Teresa Penate, Jorge A Penate, Moises Penate and Hernan Penate; and her grandchildren, Isai Alexander Artiga, Stephanos Dewa Gozali, Tatiana Claudia Gozali, Artiga Sheyla Eunice Artiga and Joshua Emmanuel.
