She is survived by: her spouse Hakim Akram; and her children, Dynetta (Frank), Akbar, Hakim Jr., Rasheedah (Garvin), Saeed, Omar, Najmah (Tim), Muhammad and Bilal (April). She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
