He was predeceased by: his father William White; and his significant other Shirley. He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly Fehrer (Joe) of Cape Charles, VA and Karen Taylor (Tom) of Salisbury; and his grandchildren, Amanda Hurley, Trevor Taylor, Jason Fehrer and Kristen Williams.

He was also an active volunteer with the Furnacetown Foundation and the Nature Conservancy's Nassawango Creek Preserve.
