With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Handy Culver Jr. of Salisbury, Maryland, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on February 5, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Handy Culver and Virginia Harper Culver; and his sister Anne Elizabeth "Betsy" Culver. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ruark Culver; his sons, John Handy Culver III (Jennifer), James Howard Culver (Teresa Long Rutherford) and Jeffrey Harrison Culver (Dana); and his grandchildren, Emma Louise Culver, Samuel Handy Culver, James Howard Culver, Sarah Elizabeth Culver and Samantha Madison Culver. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to concerns regarding COVID-19, services will be held in private.
