He was predeceased by: his parent Franklin Earl Eiker. He is survived by: his parent Bertha Skeba Eiker; his wife Vivian S. Eiker; his son Franklin Earl Eiker; his sister Rosalie Moffatt; his niece Stephanie Moffatt; his nephew Brett Smith; and his aunt Joan Eiker.

In lieu of flowers, expression of sympathy may be made in John's honor to Coastal Hospice, the American Heart Association, or the Wicomico Presbyterian Church.
