With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jean H. Wharton (Salisbury, Maryland), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Hanson and Doris Hanson; her siblings, John Hanson and Linda; her brother-in-law Peter Rubenstein; and her aunt Rebecca Cole.
She is survived by: her husband Roger Wharton; her stepchildren, Greg Wharton (Heather) and Shannon Wharton (Jorge Echavarria); her sister-in-law Miriam Hanson; her nephews, John Hanson and Chad Hanson, Jr.; her niece Laura C. Corry; her cousin Janice Dudrow; and her aunt Dixie Brady. She is also survived by six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Bethany Lutheran Church (817 Camden Ave, Salisbury, MD 21801). A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
