He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hayes and Evelyn Hayes; and his brothers, Peter, Patrick and Michael.
He is survived by: his parent-in-law Gianni DeVincenti; his daughters, Marta Hayes Trice (Andrew) and Brynne Hayes Moore (Charles); his grandchildren, Graham, Olivia, Griffin, Maxwell, Natalie, Grayson and Zachary; and his sisters, Jane Hall and Theresa Troyer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
