He was predeceased by: his mother Barbara Canter; and his siblings, John Vaia and Annie Cacciato. He is survived by: his wife Tina Bolton; his stepson Christian Bolton (Valerie); his father James Lee Vaia; his sister Cheryl Vaia Bresler (Herb); and his aunt Linda Harmon. He is also survived by four nieces, a nephew.
