He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Farrow and June Farrow (Thompson); his wife Joan McDorman Farrow; his stepdaughter Lucille Coleman Jenkins; his son Robert Irving Farrow; and his siblings, Curtis Farrow, Jr., Grace Sellers, Ruth Farrow and Annabelle Gochnour.
He is survived by: his stepson James M. Coleman of Baltimore; his son Jon Stephen Farrow (Karen Mason, MD) of Wyoming; his nephew Douglas Sellers of Salisbury; and his daughter-in-law Debbie Farrow of Princess Anne. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
