He was predeceased by: his parents, Nealy Hurley and Cora Hurley; his siblings, Laura Bishop, Lawrence Hurley, Jack Hurley, Geraldine Thacker, Fairley Hurley, Myra Good and Emogene Sloane; and his grandson Ronnie King.
He is survived by: his daughter Tammy (Ron King); his wife Anna Hurley; his grandchildren, Brian Ehrisman (Katie), Tyler Starnes, Alex Mohr, Stephen King and Joey King; his great grandchildren, Logan Ehrisman and Grason King; his siblings, Kelly Hurley and Dorothy Miller; his sister-in-law Patricia Gaylor (Michael); and his daughter Anne Marie Holloway (Scott). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
