He was predeceased by: his siblings, Lyle, Norma and Carolyn. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Gootee; his children, Randy Bounds (Carolyn), Jimmy Gootee, Jr. and Mary Ellen Parsons; and his brother Bill Gootee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
