He is survived by: his father Jon David Shearer (Louise) of Chestertown, MD; his wife Marsha Lecates of Salisbury; and his siblings, Jon Shearer (Sara) of Salisbury, Paul Shearer, Steven Shearer (Lauren) of Salisbury and Suzanne Black (Chris) of Seaford, DE. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
