He was predeceased by: his parents, Gian Chand Joshi and Savitri Deva Joshi. He is survived by: his wife Santosh Joshi; his children, Shallin (Kristen) of Brookfield, Shushen of Salisbury and Shailesh (Shai); his grandchildren, Rakesh, Rajesh, Devan, Lucas and Jenna; and his siblings, Vinod Joshi, Santosh Bhanot and Prem Lata Misra. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
