He is survived by: his wife Kathy Downes; his mother Wanda Mae Downes; his daughter Jade Maria Downes of Delmar, DE; his stepdaughters, Carey Kelly (Ryan) of Fruitland, MD and Kristin Waters of Delmar, MD; his grandchildren, Ryleigh, Raylan Kelly, Briante, Brian and Mikayla Waters; his sisters, Vanessa Maria Downes of Fort Washington, MD, Jessica Taylor (Van) of Salisbury, MD and Debbie Smiley (Michael) of Salisbury, MD; his sisters-in-law, Cynthia Downes of Salisbury, MD and Angie Langan (Bob) of Salisbury, MD; his nieces and nephews, Lamont Downes, Van Taylor, Jr., Marcus Smiley, Dawn "Garfield" Mitchell (Jannia) and Ashley Micciotto (Marcus); his great-nieces, Alexis Price and Destiny Price; and his cousin Otis W. Downes (Nuddy).
