She was predeceased by: her parents, Isiah Sample and Elizabeth Finney; her husband Stephen Goodwin; and her daughter Carolyn Sample. She is survived by: her children, Randolph Sample of Scranton, PA and Taren Taylor of Baltimore. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; and nine nieces and nephews.
