He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Mears and Hattie Mears. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Daniel Mears (Lauren) of Hilton Head, SC. and Jennifer Kershaw (Tom) of Long Eaton; his granddaughters, Kaelyn Mears and Brynhild Kershaw; his stepgrandchildren, Ryan Orcutt and Adison Ray; and his siblings, Geraline Simpson (Vic) and David Mears (Debbie).
