She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Wesley Corbin and Irma Frances Bivans; her son Gary Lamont Bivans; and her siblings, Shirley Ann Bivans, Arvella Corbin, Cynthia Ann White, Barbara Jean Hird and Ingram Hird.
She is survived by: her sons, Gerald Bivans and Duane E. Bivans (Nina); her adoptive children, Waneko Bivens-Saxton and Gerald Waters (Andrea); and her siblings, Betty Jean Harris, Nadine White, Irma L. Hird, Cherry Waters, Stephanie Hird and Charles Corbin, Jr.. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
