It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grace Asplen Ayers (Salisbury, Maryland), born in Cambridge, Maryland, who passed away on August 13, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent John Hamilton Asplen; her sister Deborah Dykes; her granddaughter Laura Owens; her significant other Warren "Chesty" Squires; and her brother-in-law George Davies.
She is survived by: her parent Florence Smith Asplen; her children, Susan Ayers Bruce (Kenny) of Salisbury and Gregory Ronald Ayers (Donna) of Fallston, MD; her grandchildren, Wesley Owens (Holly), Matthew Ayers (Amanda), Daniel Ayers (Carrie), Rebekah Ayers (Josh), Samuel Ayers (Vanessa) and Seth Ayers (April); her siblings, Muriel Davies of Hanover, PA and Stephen Asplen (Joyce) of Chesapeake City, MD; and also Ganny. She is also survived by three nieces and two nephews.
